About Northborough Southborough Regional
In recent years at the district level Northborough Southborough Regional School District (NSBORO) has focused their efforts towards equity in early literacy through the adoption of high quality instructional materials, delivery of professional development (in evidence-based literacy instruction, principles of UDL, culturally responsive practices), and in working towards a robust system of tiered literacy supports.
To achieve this, the district drafted a Dyslexia Action Plan. In August 2024, NSBORO launched the district wide use of the data platform AnalyticVue in order for data teams to easily disaggregate data and examine subgroups’ performance in ELA. In fall 2024, data meetings incorporated benchmark meeting protocols, Crafting Minds data organizers, and structured literacy lesson plans.
